Mestral Outdoor Bench
Reclaimed wood · Outdoor · 150 or 200 cm
About the product
The Mestral bench is made from solid Nordic fir from controlled felling. This wood was originally used in the Netherlands to build scaffolding and, once its working life was over, it was reclaimed and transformed into a new piece of furniture.
Because of its origin and previous use, it is an especially resistant wood, with an aged and weathered finish that gives character to each bench. It may show slight imperfections, such as knots, small cracks or variations in tone. They are the traces of its history and the magic of imperfection.
The wood is protected with a non-toxic water-based varnish. Although the bench is suitable for outdoor use, we recommend protecting it from the rain and covering it when not in use to keep it in the best condition.
Each piece is handcrafted in Raquel's workshop, located in San Roque, Cádiz.
